Watercolors

Hossein Ziai’s watercolors express transcendent affinity between the human spirit and pristine nature. The mountains recall the peaks of Torbat Heydariyeh and the ranges he came to know and love through his travels around Iran. With several important exceptions, most of his watercolors were painted on his lap on 4 in. x 6 in. paper and date from 1988-2011.
